One of a Kind Handmade Santa Doll for Christmas Decor / Clay Head Santa Hand Carved / Father Christmas

Sleighing Santa has been carefully handcrafted by me (Tina Logassi of Prim Heirloom Designs) in order to ensure that you are purchasing a high quality one-of-a-kind artisan piece.

I sculpted Sleighing Santa’s face out of paper-clay, and hand painted his facial details.

He also comes complete with a custom stained wooden base and pole to set him up in a sturdy manner.

"Sleighing Santa" is an original design and will come signed and dated by me, Tina Logassi, of Prim Heirloom Designs.

In the far North, after Christmas Eve has come and gone, Santa finally gets a chance to get outside! He clutches a lantern in one hand and a trusty sleigh in the other, as he trudges through the snow looking for the perfect spot to go on a little sleigh ride!

It’s a bitterly cold night, so Sleighing Santa is clad in a re-purposed rabbit fur hat, a fur-trimmed blue velvet coat and woolen pants. His vest is made from an ornate purple brocade fabric and his shoes are made from vintage suede. His sleigh is hand-painted, distressed for a primitive look, and decorated with moss and little faux holly berries. There’s even a big bell dangling down (I like to think that’s to scare the bears away!).

From a smoke free, pet-free home. Sleighing Santa is not a toy, he is a decorative doll only.
