From the shadowed paths of Sleepy Hollow comes this one-of-a-kind Headless Horseman, a figure that feels as though he’s stepped quietly out of the old tale—where the air is crisp, the light fades early, and something just beyond sight keeps you glancing over your shoulder.
This variation carries a slightly darker, more refined presence. He wears black faux suede trousers paired with a patterned vest woven in black and soft gold, catching the light with a subtle richness. A crushed velvet cloak falls behind him with a beautiful weight and drape, adding depth and movement, while vintage lace trims his collar and cuffs. Beneath his arm, he holds a hand-sculpted pumpkin, completing the story in a way that feels both familiar and timeless.
Created from my original pattern design and completely handmade in my smoke-free, pet-free studio in Stratford, Ontario, he is a striking heirloom piece for those who are drawn to Halloween with a quieter, more old-world kind of charm.
