Handmade Headless Horseman Figure with Clay Pumpkin No.4

From the quiet, shadowed roads of Sleepy Hollow comes this one-of-a-kind Headless Horseman, carrying with him that familiar sense of stillness… the kind that settles in just before dusk on a crisp autumn evening. There’s something about him that feels as though he’s always been part of the story—waiting just beyond the edge of the light.

This variation leans into a deeper, more classic palette. He wears black faux suede trousers with a matching cloak that falls softly behind him, giving him a grounded, almost stately presence. His vest is a rich black and gold brocade-style fabric, with a beautiful, intricate pattern that catches the light in a quiet way—subtle, but full of character. Vintage lace trims his collar and cuffs, and he carries a hand-sculpted pumpkin tucked beneath his arm, completing the piece with that unmistakable nod to the legend.

Created from my original pattern design and completely handmade in my smoke-free, pet-free studio in Stratford, Ontario, he’s a timeless seasonal figure—perfect for those who love Halloween with a sense of history, story, and a little bit of mystery woven in.
