Handmade Headless Horseman Figure with Clay Pumpkin No.5

From the quiet roads of Sleepy Hollow comes this one-of-a-kind Headless Horseman, a figure that feels steeped in the story of autumn itself—when the air turns cool, the leaves begin to fall, and the evenings carry that familiar hush just before night settles in.

This variation has a warmer, harvest-toned presence. He wears brown faux suede trousers paired with a softly weathered, faux distressed leather cape that gives him a timeworn, well-traveled feel. His vest brings in a rich autumn orange with delicate gold swirling through it, catching the light in a way that feels both seasonal and quietly striking. Vintage lace trims his collar and cuffs, and beneath his arm rests a hand-sculpted pumpkin—an unmistakable nod to the legend he carries with him.

Created from my original pattern design and completely handmade in my smoke-free, pet-free studio in Stratford, Ontario, he is a beautiful heirloom piece for those who are drawn to the warmth and storytelling of the autumn season.
