Testimonials

I didn't get this in time to make it for this year, but I look forward to having it next year. I fell in love with the camel when I saw his pattern and decided that I need to do all of the figures because they look so good together. The instructions are clear and each of the figures has so much character.

Etsy Review

had an absolute ball bringing this pattern to life and gifting it to family to treasure for years to come! The instructions and patterns were really easy to follow with lots of detail and images for the visual learners. Such a great bundle with all the patterns for the scene included (definitely worth it)! Highly recommend this bundle :)

I’ve loved making this lovely nativity scene and my granddaughters were delighted. Easy to follow patterns with very useful tips. Camel still unmade but I’ll get to him soon.

An Heirloom, rooted in tradition and designed to be passed down generation to generation

Some of my customers are constructing multiple Nativity Scenes, gifting one figure a year to a grandchild, or making the entire scene to give someone special.

Others focus more on the actual crafting of the scene, partaking in craft circles and slowly working at the figures surrounded by like-minded crafty friends.

Some strictly stick to the pattern while others get a creative spark and add their own spin on things.

It's a fun journey.

how skilled do i need to be to make these figures

Check out the free video series, it walks you step-by-step through constructing each figure, so you know if you have the basic skills to make these figures!

what happens if i bought the digital pattern but then decide i want the kit instead?

Contact me, I will apply the value of the pattern against the craft kit, so that you are not purchasing the pattern twice!

do i need to pre-shrink my felt

Yes, any time you are working with Sulky stabilizer, you always need to pre-shrink your wool or wool-blend felt before you start your project! All you need to do is thoroughly soak your felt in lukewarm or cool water (do not mix colours), press the excess water out and lay the sheets to dry on a drying rack. You will see the felt will have shrunk a bit, and if it's wrinkly, if you are using wool or wool-blend felt you can just iron it flat!
