This craft kit is to make the Donkey figure in my Christmas Nativity Series. He is a sweet little guy, with soulful eyes and dutifully carrying his bundle of twigs.
He is free-standing, approximately 3" tall and is hand-stitched.
Your craft kit comes with a choice of a downloadable PDF pattern (an access code will come with your kit in the mail), or a set of colour laser printed instructions.

The Donkey Craft Kit includes:
- Fabri Solvy pre-printed with the pattern for you
- wool-blend felt in the pattern colours
- all of the DMC floss for the pattern
- a set of embroidery needles
- green fleece fabric for the coat
- four 6" cotton pipe cleaners
- faux suede cord
- jump rings
- bundle of twigs
- spanish moss
In addition, you will need:
- polyfil or wool stuffing
- white tacky glue
- hot glue gun
- wire cutters
- stuffing fork (makes life easier!)
- basic hand sewing supplies

Though the pattern & instructions are incredibly detailed, sometimes a visual aid is all you need to gain the confidence you can do it!
